Oversight of Rockville Housing Enterprises is provided by the Board of Commissioners who approve RHE’s program policies and budgets.
This board is a five-member body whose members are appointed by the Mayor and Council for three-year terms. The authority elects its chairperson. Rockville Housing Enterprises is an independent body that functions under federal and state law but was created by the Mayor and Council to investigate the need for building and administering such public housing in the city as is found to be necessary. The current Board of Commissioners and their roles are:
